The day after Halloween was the big party, thrown by Kana, Ayumi, and Hiroki. We all had lunch together in the afternoon to get aquainted. Well, everyone was already aquainted except for me, so I guess it was an 'introduce Dan' lunch. Also, it was Hiroki's birthday:

After lunch it was time to start getting ready for the party. Step #1 was to shave:

We weren't sure how the costumes would go over on the streets, but we did get stopped by strangers for pictures:

Keiko wanted a picture with the gay geishas. I asked if she was Hermoine, but she assured me she was Harry Potter. Nothing wrong with cross gender costumes!

At one point I won a drawing of which the winner was stripped in front of the crowd. I didn't mind until I remembered that underneath my costume was a t-shirt with the kanji for 'huge root'. I'll let you interpret what it's slang for.
